Museum of Design: How do I knit a fan scarf?

Are you a soccer fan? Are you passionate about a particular team, person, object, or word? A fan scarf is the perfect knitted expression of your passion. In this workshop at the Museum of Design You will learn the basic principles of typographic knitting and find out step by step how to design your very own fan scarf using your favorite word. You will discover the slip stitch knitting technique and receive design templates that you can use to plan and knit life-size fan scarves yourself.

Requirements for the workshop: Basic knitting skills such as casting on, knit stitches, and binding off.
