Zurich draws a positive conclusion to the tournament. The five matches at the Letzigrund Stadium were played in front of sold-out crowds, and over 170 000 people visited the «ZüriFanzone» in Europaallee throughout the tournament.

Around 112,500 fans watched the high-quality matches at Stadion Letzigrund during the five sold-out games in Zurich. Remarkably, there were more women than men in the audience at all matches in Zurich.

The «ZüriFanzone» in Europaallee was also very well attended, with over 170 000 visitors throughout the tournament. The live broadcasts of the games in the public viewing area were very well received, with access having to be restricted for individual games for safety reasons – in the quarter-final between Switzerland and Spain, this was already the case 45 minutes before kick-off. The individually designed fan rooms were also well received by visitors.

Sweden and Germany take over the ZüriFanzone

German and Swedish fans enjoyed the perfect weather and celebrated. In the afternoon, a juggling workshop attracted creative minds. Everyone from beginners to professionals took part, and the atmosphere was simply fantastic. Those who couldn't juggle still had a lot to laugh about – and that's exactly what made the activity so special.

Later in the evening, on the stage at the public viewing area, Sweden had organized a fan activity, and the mix of German and Swedish supporters created a great atmosphere. Both fan groups celebrated together.

At around 6:30 p.m., the moment had finally arrived: the fan walks made their way to the Letzigrund Stadium. First the Germans, then the Swedes – both groups marched in single file, creating an impressive sight. What a day for the fans, and what an atmosphere in Zurich!
