Zurich-based indie pop singer and songwriter Jamila creates space for vulnerability and self-reflection in her songs. She developed an interest in music at an early age, but it was only recently that the young Zurich native found the courage to share her music with the world. Her first official single, «Indifferent», was released in April 2023 and was immediately added to the playlist of Radio SRF 3. Inspired by artists such as Holly Humberstone, Jamila captivates listeners with dreamy guitar sounds and honest, poetic lyrics. Authenticity is central to Jamila's work, and her songs feel like unfiltered diary entries – spontaneous, honest, and full of urgency. Since her debut, she has already played at renowned festivals such as Montreux Jazz and Gurten Festival.
