City of Zurich

The city of Zurich is proud to be one of the main host city for UEFA Women's EURO 2025, alongside Basel, Bern, and Geneva. The Office of Sport, an institution belonging to the Department of School and Sport of the City of Zurich, is responsible for organizing the tournament in Zurich. It is putting together the activities surrounding the tournament in Zurich, operating the Letzigrund Stadium as a venue, and implementing long-term measures to ensure that the tournament leaves a lasting legacy.

In addition to the Office of Sport of the City of Zurich, the Sports Office of the Canton of Zurich is working in cooperation with the Zurich Regional Football Association to ensure a sustainable legacy in the region.

Project organization

The Office of Sport is responsible for implementing the tournament in the city. Regula Schweizer (Project Manager Host City Zurich, front row, center) and Christina Höllerl (Deputy Project Manager and Head of Marketing & Promotion, front row, right) are responsible for the operational project management. Additional tasks and functions are being performed by other municipal departments and specialist agencies.
