UEFA Women's EURO 2025 in Switzerland will be an unforgettable football experience that promotes social equality and the advancement of girls and women in sport, supports the conservation of resources, and raises the profile of Switzerland as an attractive holiday and event destination. The sustainability charter that we have drawn up with the seven other host cities of Basel, Bern, Geneva, Lucerne, Sion, St. Gallen, and Thun is based on the sustainability dimensions of «environment,» «society,» and «economy/management.»

It is based on the recommendations of the Swiss Association for Sustainable Events (SVNE) and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and supports the national Agenda 2030 for sustainable development.
