ZüriKick

As a key accompanying measure to the tournament, the city of Zurich has launched «ZüriKick», an additional football program for girls. The free football courses take place every Wednesday afternoon at school facilities. Thanks to this program, over 150 girls have already found an easy way to get into football. The football program will be continued and expanded in the coming school year 2025/26.

- Free football courses for girls aged 10 to 15 living in the city of Zurich

In addition to participating in ZüriKick training, the city of Zurich offers girls additional opportunities to get to football. This contains trainings to become a coach (junior coach) and referee – with the opportunity to apply what they have learned directly in ZüriKick in the corresponding roles.
