Zurich is looking forward to the first match day

Numerous fans watched the Denmark–Sweden and Germany–Poland matches on the big screen at Europaplatz. Beforehand, schoolchildren from the city of Zurich were able to try out canoeing, tennis, and field hockey in the public viewing area.

While the brave sang karaoke in the «Cube», the mobile broadcasting studio of Local Supporter Radio Energy, volunteers at the Tourist Information office in Zurich's main station answered questions about the tournament in Zurich. The host city of Zurich, in cooperation with Local Supporter Zurich Tourism, has set up a stand at the Tourist Information office where residents and visitors can find out more about the tournament in the ZüriFanzone and in the city of Zurich.
