Last Friday, Maddli, the official mascot of UEFA Women's EURO 2025, celebrated its eagerly awaited first appearance. The cheerful St. Bernard puppy with a big heart symbolizes the values of the tournament: courage, solidarity, and passion for soccer.

Maddli's journey began in Geneva, where she surprised children and travelers at Cornavin train station. She then traveled by train to Zurich, where she was warmly welcomed by participants in the new ZüriKick courses. At the Letzigrund Stadium, Maddli visited the ZüriMobil and met ambassador Fabienne Humm – an inspiring moment for everyone involved.

Maddli enjoyed the highlight of her day in the evening when she took the symbolic kick-off in front of a record crowd of over 17,000 enthusiastic fans at the Switzerland vs. Germany match. With her energetic charisma, she got the fans in the mood and made the evening an unforgettable experience.
