Zurich shines in red for the UEFA Women's EURO 2025

Ten large football goals will glow red until the end of July 2025, drawing attention in the city of Zurich to the UEFA Women's EURO 2025 from July 2 to 27, 2025.

The light art project «Red Goals» illuminates well-known locations in the city of Zurich in a special light in the evening and at night: from the Zürichhorn to the Lindenhof to the Turbinenplatz. It is based on the artistic concept of Hamburg-based light artist, theater maker, and scenographer Michael Batz, which he implemented for the 2006 Men's Soccer World Cup in Hamburg (Blue Goals).

Two more Red Goals will be set up on the grounds of the Swiss Embassy in Berlin for the duration of the tournament to connect the cities of Zurich and Berlin.
