Zurich brings the tournament to life in the city

German and Swedish fans enjoyed the perfect weather and celebrated. In the afternoon, a juggling workshop attracted creative minds. Everyone from beginners to professionals took part, and the atmosphere was simply fantastic. Those who couldn't juggle still had a lot to laugh about – and that's exactly what made the activity so special.

Later in the evening, on the stage at the public viewing area, Sweden had organized a fan activity, and the mix of German and Swedish supporters created a great atmosphere. Both fan groups celebrated together.

At around 6:30 p.m., the moment had finally arrived: the fan walks made their way to the Letzigrund Stadium. First the Germans, then the Swedes – both groups marched in single file, creating an impressive sight. What a day for the fans, and what an atmosphere in Zurich!

There was a lot going on in the ZüriFanzone today! The talented Swiss singer-songwriter Linda Elys kicked off the evening and immediately put everyone in a good mood with her songs. The 22-year-old, who made it to the final of The Voice of Germany in 2021, brought a breath of fresh air to the stage with her music.

But it wasn't just the music that got everyone going: tournament ambassador Ana Maria Marković was also there, signing autographs and giving interviews that provided some great insights. A real highlight for all visitors!

The crowning glory of the day was the public viewing of the Swiss women's last group match against Finland. The ZüriFanzone was packed – from the fans in front of the screen to the hospitality areas "ZüriLounge" and "Champions Deck." The atmosphere? Simply fantastic, exuberant, and full of joy.

Today, Zurich was transformed into an orange sea: on the second day of the tournament, the host city was completely dominated by the Netherlands! Hours before the England vs. Netherlands match at the Letzigrund Stadium and before the official fan walk, the atmosphere was exuberant – especially at the public viewing in the ZüriFanzone. The fan activities attracted many visitors.

The fan walk organized by Dutch fans was the highlight of the day: around 6,000 people set off together in the afternoon from Gustav-Gull-Platz (Lagerstrasse) to the Letzigrund Stadium. Music, singing, and a wave of orange swept through the city in a peaceful atmosphere – an impressive sight that Zurich will not forget anytime soon.

On the first of five match days of the UEFA Women's EURO 2025 in the host city of Zurich, the French women's team faced the English women's team at the Letzigrund Stadium. Fans from both nations created a great atmosphere not only in the stadium, but also in the ZüriFanzone and throughout the city.

Numerous English and French fans were already out and about in the city during the day. The English supporters in particular gathered at the Lionesses HQ Kraftwerk in Zurich, among other places, but the excitement was palpable at various other locations throughout the city. Overall, the atmosphere in Zurich was peaceful and exuberant, both in the city and in the ZüriFanzone.

The big highlight of the day was the opening match in the host city of Zurich: at 9 p.m., the defending champions from England kicked off the tournament with a top-class match against France – a real football highlight to get things started.
