Legacy
The City of Zurich's accompanying measures ensure that the tournament leaves a lasting legacy. The focus is on promoting girls and women in football and other sports.
As a key accompanying measure, the city of Zurich has launched the «ZüriKick», a free football program for girls, has been launched in Zurich schools. It includes free football courses at school facilities. Thanks to this program, over 150 girls aged 10 to 15 in Zurich have been introduced to football. The offer will be continued and expanded in the 2025/26 school year (see press release dated June 5, 2025).
In addition, the city of Zurich supports «Her Game Culture», the accompanying cultural program for the tournament in Zurich, and therefore promotes the exchange between sport and culture.

The Sustainability Charta of the Host City of Zurich summarizes the measures.
